Subjects Taught : I am an MA student from Galway who studied German as part of my bachelor's degree. I received a H1 in the Leaving Cert and 1st class honours in German overall for my degree. I was honoured by the National University of Ireland for academic excellence in the language in 2023. I lived in Bamberg, Germany for 1 year as part of Erasmus. Additional Information : Cheap and affordable grinds (price negotiable)! Want to learn German from beginner level or to continue advancing from ex-intermediate level? Want people to understand you when you speak and to sound like a German? I am myself a second year student studying languages but I have displayed high levels of motivation and passion that helped me surpass the language level of the students in final year German by the time I was in second semester of first year. I came out of the Leaving Cert with A2 German and after not speaking it at all during the summer before starting college I achieved C1 in 9 months almost completely independently. I believe this stems from my love for and deep understanding of grammar structures and interest in linguistics. I'm offering these grinds because I really love German and I believe my perspective as a learner myself would really benefit the students I teach. I am also interested in gaining experience in teaching and think this would be a lovely opportunity that benefits both parties :)
